The Stuart “Riverwalk”

This Boardwalk in Downtown Stuart covers from the start of downtown where confusion corner is near the Duffy’s and borders the water all the way to the Rosevelt bridge. There are docking areas for boats to park. This boardwalk makes for a great scenic walk, especially during a gorgeous sunset.

The walk is on average 20 minutes from one end to the other. As you walk down the Riverwalk, you might encounter bands playing under the blue canopies where the Boathouse is located. Further down you will find the outside bar that is part of the Mulligan’s restaurant. This makes for a convenient stop to enjoy refreshments on your adventure.

Continuing down, you will reach a park, if you are with your children, this is a great spot to allow them to have some fun! It is located just before the bridge.

At the end of the boardwalk, you’ll meet with the fishing pier that extends halfway under the Rosevelt bridge. local fishermen have great success here so if you like to fish, grab a rod and test your luck!

Stuart Heritage Museum

The Stuart Heritage Museum, at 161 Southwest Flagler Avenue in Stuart, Florida, is a local history museum located in a historic 2-story frame building built in 1901 by George W. Parks. Parks used the first floor of the building for his Geo. W. Parks Grocery and General Merchandise Store and second floor for his home.

You can find this building walking distance West of downtown, just past the Mulligan’s Restaurant.
